Compassion, Evolution, & Hope: Serving Our HIV Community

by Catholic Charities – June 7, 2022

Proud to care for our most vulnerable neighbors.

Catholic Charities has steadfastly served the HIV/AIDS community for more than 40 years, rising above the misunderstanding and stigma associated with the disease. Since the beginning of the AIDS epidemic, we have provided housing, compassionate nursing support, medical case management, and hope to formerly homeless individuals living with the disease. We have been an innovative partner with our community, evolving our services and care as medical advances have allowed those we serve with HIV to enjoy full lives with improved quality of health toward the ultimate goal of greater independence.

With wholehearted dedication, we proudly support our vulnerable neighbors living with HIV. From ensuring our residents have transportation to their medical appointments, to organizing weekly community groups where they feel a strong sense of belonging, providing nutritious meals, and providing support for their children, we are here.

We believe in the profound power of compassion for everyone.
