OUR STORIES

A Message of Thanksgiving

We Give Thanks to You, Our Employees, Board Members, Ambassadors and Partners,

Catholic Charities San Francisco is Building a Caring Community of Deep Gratitude Together with you! May the blessings of Thanksgiving open our hearts to discover peace and abundant love for one another.

As we celebrate being together with those we love during Thanksgiving, we are deeply grateful for your continued commitment to support our vulnerable neighbors throughout the Bay Area who struggle with the hardship of uncertainty, economic instability, and health concerns.

You truly make our vital services possible, thank you!

Your ongoing partnership with Catholic Charities helps our dedicated and resilient staff continue providing critically needed services to thousands of homeless families, chronically ill individuals, children, immigrants, and seniors throughout the Bay Area. We thank you deeply from our hearts to yours. Together, our partnership restores lives for so many as we share in the grace of care through your dedication to changing lives with us.

As we celebrate Thanksgiving, and strive always to care for those less fortunate than ourselves, let us remember and reflect upon this passage from the Peace Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi:

“O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved as to love.”

I invite you to take a moment and discover how together we change lives every day.

Wishing you and your loved ones a safe and blessed Thanksgiving.

May love fill our hearts as we share in the blessings of thanksgiving,

With gratitude,

Ellen
