Adult Day Services
San Francisco

In partnership with

Catholic Charities Adult Day Services offers non-medical personal care, supervision, and assistance for Seniors and Adults with Disabilities.

Catholic Charities Adult Day Services San Francisco is a licensed program providing a safe, supervised, therapeutic, and friendly environment for seniors and adults with disabilities who experience losses in physical function, memory, or social support.

Through mentally and physically stimulating activities, the program enhances participants’ quality of life and increases their independence while providing support and respite to family caregivers. Adult Day Services is a reliable and affordable alternative to in-home care or placement in a residential facility.

Co-located within our Adult Day Services San Francisco, our Catholic Charities Alzheimer’s Day Care Resource Center provides a safe, structured environment in which frail or chronically impaired seniors and disabled adults can safely participate in social, educational, and recreational activities. The program provides stability and consistency in the lives of participants and their families.

Our program is situated in a bright, spacious setting with multiple activity rooms and an enclosed courtyard in the back. With no more than 32 participants per day, we offer a range of fun and stimulating activities, the opportunity to make new friends, and an environment of warmth and respect created by our experienced staff.

We are conveniently located in the southern part of San Francisco with easy access to Highway 280 as well as Muni’s M-Line and 54-Line a half a block away. Ample free parking is available for visitors.

What Does It Mean To Serve With Love?

“According to St. Teresa of Avila, ‘It is love alone that gives worth to all things. Through the graces of God, I serve with love because it is the only gift worth giving.’”

Meet Patty

“Our goal is to help them succeed in the wide range of activities they do, giving them a sense of accomplishment that buoys their confidence and well-being,” says Clement. “Together with their families, we help stabilize those that join us, giving them dignity and the opportunity for a long and healthy life after having a dementia diagnosis. “we want people to know that these services are out there, and that it’s not only okay to ask for support, but also necessary. It really does take a village to raise our children, but it also takes a village to care for our elderly.”
