Holiday Highlights from our Community

by Catholic Charities – December 28, 2021

Catholic Charities Volunteers Deliver Hope.

A huge thanks to our Catholic Charities volunteers who bring joy, community spirit, and hope to those we serve in partnership with you. From distributing food to donating warm jackets to fundraising, children and adults alike have come together to strengthen our community this holiday season.

At Catholic Charities Center for Immigration Legal & Support Services, 100 families of unaccompanied minors received two tons of food! Kids were embraced by the gift of warmth thanks to two anonymous donors who generously provided 131 brand-new youth jackets.

Thank you, Catholic Charities volunteers! We deeply appreciate your commitment to keeping our neighbors safe, healthy, and warm.

Preschoolers from Serra Preschool in San Francisco showed true community spirit by collecting 100 bags of food that were distributed to families experiencing homelessness through our Catholic Charities Bayview and Mission Access Points.

Two hundred and twenty budding-philanthropist elementary school students from Saint Isabella School in Marin County raised $2,200 for the boys living at Catholic Charities St. Vincent’s School for Boys. Amazing work!
