A Christmas Message

Dear Friends and Family,

On behalf of all of us at Catholic Charities of San Francisco, we would like to wish you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

With your help, Catholic Charities staff walked with more than 100,000 people in 2024. Because of the kindness and generosity of our donors, volunteers, and staff, we supported our community’s youth, seniors, and immigrant populations, and participated in helping solve homelessness in the Bay Area.

Our impact is tremendous, and we are so grateful for your dedication to our mission, vision and values. As we enter 2025, we look forward to continuing the work of uplifting our clients and serving those around us with love.

Thank you for helping us to offer hope, joy, and love to the most vulnerable members of our community. May God bless you and your family during this Christmas season and in the new year.

I leave you with these inspiring words from Pope Francis:

“Let us pray for peace:
Peace in the world and
In each of our hearts.”

Many blessings to all of you,

Ellen Hammerle, Ph.D.
