Easter Hope and Renewal

by Catholic Charities – April 18, 2022

Dear Friends,

Despite the uncertainty and worry many of us are experiencing with the continuing pandemic, the war in Ukraine, economic distress, and our work against injustice and inequity, we bear witness to the resilience of hope and the beauty of renewal. Daily, we see our essential workers’ care and compassion for the most vulnerable among us who seek solace and refuge. They are our inspiration and emissaries of light, love, and hope.

As a cherished partner in the care of our struggling neighbors, you are also our hope.

Because of you, Catholic Charities is ending homelessness and keeping families housed. We are breaking cycles of generational poverty and instilling the values of leadership and teamwork in our next generation. We are fostering independence for seniors and adults with disabilities. We are welcoming everyone and strengthening our community.

Easter is a time of hope and renewal. As we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, we take comfort in the joy this season brings to the world.

Wishing you peace and Easter blessings,

Ted Borromeo
