Program Type: Homelessness and Housing Services
County: San Francisco
Since 1984, Rita da Cascia Community has been a unique program in that it specializes in intensive, coordinated case management services to women and children impacted by chronic illness and homelessness. The program is designed to ensure that women and children are connected to vital medical, financial, legal and psychiatric services.
Through our 8-week long support groups, we provides a safe, supportive environment for women that participate in the program. We are seeking volunteers to help prepare food, set-up and clean-up for each session. Depending on skill level and interest volunteers may be in charge of cooking, and hosting the community room for the support group dinners.
Food Donations are accepted.
