Summer Program Volunteers (East Palo Alto)

The Youth Club at St. Francis of Assisi Summer program provides low-income, English language learning elementary school children with daily intense literacy, math, enrichment activities, and Friday excursions lead by volunteers and community role models. Volunteer support is needed to run our Summer program between Monday, June 26 – Friday, August 4.

Monday – Wednesday
Morning Shift: 8:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. - Literacy and Math Support
Afternoon Shift: 12:45 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. - Electives (PE, Art, Cooking, Gardening, Etc.)

Shift: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. - supervision at Belle Haven swimming pool*

Shift: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. - supervision at field trip/excursion*

*Please note that spots are limited.

In order to participate in the summer program, volunteers are required to attend a volunteer orientation. Sign-up today!

Youth 15+ are welcomed!
